100 percent of net proceeds from this tournament will be used to start pickleball programs in the PE classes and club programs of Elkhart County middle schools. Funds will be used to purchase all necessary equipment for 4 courts at each school approved for assistance (This includes 4 nets, 20 paddles, 100 balls, tape for marking courts, and possibly safety glasses). Goshen Pickleballers will also offer clinics to help the PE teachers learn how to play and teach the game of pickleball to their students. Any additional funds will be used in the community to improve existing courts or help establish new courts.
Registration Information: Registration Fee: $30.00, Event Fee: $10.00/event. Online waiver signature is used to register.

Tournament Director: Dawn Horan from Fort Wayne. We are very honored to have Dawn as our tourney director. If you've ever played in one of Dawn's tournaments, you know how great a tourney she runs.
Medals: We are not giving out medals or T-shirts so that we have more funds to purchase PB supplies for the schools. There will be medals to use for photo ops, but they must be returned to be used for the next winners.
Raffle: Pickleball Trips, a travel company which takes people all over the world to play pickleball, heard of our desire to start pickleball in Elkhart County IN middle schools. They are generously donating a free pickleball camp (2 or 3 day) to the winner of the raffle in the winners home town. They will help recruit people, promote the event, and attempt to help find the other 7 participants needed to run the camp. They normally promote their camps through their mailing list and social media, as well as contacting local pickleball clubs or their contacts across the country.
There will be no cost to the winner, but the other participants will need to pay the full cost which depends on the length of the camp or clinic. The winner will determine where the camp is to be held. If for some reason the camp can not be filled, the winner will be able to attend any one of Pickleball Trip's US camps for free (this does not include airfare or lodging).
Value of this prize is :
2-Day Camp - $295 (12 hrs of instruction) or
3-Day Camp - $425 (18 hrs of instruction)
